What’s the big deal about Christmas
Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year.

It’s the season to thank God for His incredible and indescribable Gift in the person of Jesus who though divine took upon himself humanity to reach the basest of men.
Christmas is favoured by all and celebrated in all dimension by all shades of Human. The wheather changes, the clouds can attest,The tropic experiences harmattan and the temperate winter

The town is all lighten, full of vibrant Colours,

Protocol lists are complied,

Gifts are distributed,

Achievers are honoured,

Promotion is Served

Just because it’s Christmas

What is Christmas

Christmas as known by all is a time, a date and a season set aside to honour, the saviour of the World. The king of all kings.

25th December is the day set aside
Written on the the pages of the Scripture is the Person of Jesus from Genesis to Revelation.
Evidences around are places, archeological findings, times, names, events and monuments pointing to His existence
His life was foretold by prophets of Old 
His person was birthed in the New testament

His ways,His act and His power was evident in the Bible

From page to page unto Revelation

His essence yet speaks over 2000 years after him
He had Grace, Power and Authority to do the unfathomable
His birth was ordained by God
Confirmed by Angels
Witnessed by shepherds watching their Flock
And Great Glory shone around them
Born in a Manger

Wrapped in swaddling clothes
Heavenly host singing and praising God in adoration
Visited by wise men bearing gifts
Bowed too by men while yet a Babe 
Sought for by Herod
At eight days, His name was called JESUS as named of the Angel
As a light to lighten the gentile
And as the glory of Israel he lived
Dedicated in the temple with two turtle doves
Carried by simeon the devout

He was brought to His Father’s house
In growing, He grew in wisdom, in stature and in favour with God and men

Through Him the Divine becomes everyday occurrence for us

And we can do all thing through Him who strengthens us

The reason we can approach God unashamed

He reigned as King

Reigning supremely, He gave gifts unto men
Having flesh, He conquered the world
And as He is so are we as Light to the World
Destroying the devils work, He triumphed
His Blood speaks better things than the blood is Abel

His name is above every other name
At His name bows every kneel 
and every Tongue confess Him as God
His Banner over our life is His love
In His Light we see Light
In Him we Live,
In Him we move
In Him we have our being
He is the Messiah
Emmanuel
God is with Us
For unto us a Child is Born
Unto us a Son is given
And the Government shall forever be upon His Shoulder

He shall be called

Wonderful……For He shall have the Amazing effect and He shall be an Amazement, a Sign and a Wonder to the world 

 Councellor…… In the multitude of Counsel there is safety. For He will guide and lead into all Truth, for he is the Way, the Truth and the Life.

The Mighty God……. Jehovah El gibbor, mighty shall He be to save, to heal to Deliver and to set the Captives free. Who is the King of Glory, the Lord Strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle is he

As the Prince of Peace……. Omo Alade alafia, His Habitation is a peaceable one, Distributing peace everywhere
And of the increase of His government and Peace there shall be no end

There is no end in sight to His reign as King.

With His Birth, Christ in us is the Hope of Glory

He gave us a new Life to Enjoy always in this world and the next having escaped corruption and judgement to come

That’s the true Essence of Christmas,

A reminded to us all that as He came, Born in the Manger,

He is coming again not as a Babe but as the Judge of all.
